Lemon Drop’s Story
A number of years back, we saw a yellow Shasta with a for sale sign sitting alongside a highway. We stopped to take a look, but decided not to call on it; we didn’t need another Shasta at the time. Soon though, we were thinking about it again and started to second-guess our decision.
We drove back to the location a couple days later, but it was already gone. No doubt someone from that busy highway thought it was as cute as we did!
A couple years later, we were looking through an online marketplace and found a yellow Shasta that was remarkably close to us. John asked the seller if he could look at it right away. Once he got there, we realized it was the same trailer - we recognized the peach-colored upholstery on the seats! This time we brought cash, make an offer on the spot, and drove home with it!
